Greetings, North East Texas Area AAs:

As promised, I attended the Volunteer Kick-off Meeting in San Antonio to gather information regarding volunteer opportunities for the upcoming AA International Convention. The Convention will be in San Antonio July 1-4, 2010. If you are interested in participating as a volunteer, there are three ways to register:

1. On-line at www.aa75.org
2. Fax to 210-822-4491
3. Mail to 2010 International, 8804 Tradeway, San Antonio, TX 78217

A Volunteer Sign-Up Form is attached for selections #2 or #3.

There is a large selection of Committee choices (listed on form) - please note your preferences when you register. You will be notified in the next several weeks of your assignment. You will also be notified of the date for training, tentatively scheduled for the first week-end in May in San Antonio.

The Host Committee is hopeful that enough people will volunteer so that each person can be limited to one or two four hour shifts.

Reminder, registration for the convention itself is also required. That can be done on-line at www.aa.org (If you prefer to register for the AA Convention by mail or fax, please contact me for a registration form.)
